Unpacking and Assembly FOR ANY WARRANTY OR REPAIR WORK, THIS MACHINE MUST BE SHIPPED BACK IN THE BOX IT CAME IN. PLEASE SAVE THE BOX AND ALL SCREWS.
Items needed to unpack and assemble: Allen wrench set, flat head screwdriver and a clean table top.
A. Lay box down as instructed by labels. Open box. Remove machine by lifting the base. Locate the lid packed between the wooden base and cardboard.
B. Gently turn the machine upside down on rigid tray. Remove the 3 bolts fastening the plywood. Retain the shipping box, bolts and packing material for future shipments.
1) Connect the hose to the nipple. Connect the hose to the pump. There are no clamps necessary for this. The hose will press into the outlet of the pump. (Supplied in the box is an adapter, if you choose to use this. The hose will press over the adapter piece and then press into pump.)
2) To install the handle, remove the shoulder bolt mounted to the angle brackets on the underside of the machine. Then slip the handle with the right side up (see figure A) through the front cover and angle brackets. Mount the shoulder bolt through the angle brackets and handle. (If you experience problems with lining up the shoulder bolt the lever on the front cover is in the way).
3) See Figure B. Install drive pin into slot on wheel assembly. Align gear box shaft to drive pin and install gear box on motor mount. Then, mount the motor (with the wires up through the base) to gear box. Tighten with supplied screws. Plug in motors to matching color connections (blue to blue, black to black, etc.)
4) Gently turn the machine right side up, push down on the handle grip until it bottoms out, then remove the shipping pin (see figure A). Tighten 4 screws on angle brackets.
5) Set the rest pad in position (see figure A). The rest pad fits over the push pin. This area under the rest pad needs to be clean and free of ball residue at all times and should be oiled with straight 30W motor oil on a consistent basis, at least weekly. (Do not use any type of 3-N-1 oil or WD-40. It must be motor oil.)
C. Press on the supplied hose over the drain on the tray. It is recommended to drill a hole in your table and have this hose drop straight down into your waste container. |
